Re: Turbo Sliders - plans for the near future

Activity in TS hasn't been so low, ever, it feels like. We had some Slider action the other day though. TS addicted junkies, like Whip and me, will probably always find a way to revive TS at some point.

Re: Formula 1 Grand Prix #2

T summed it up pretty well, again! Thanks, Magnam! It was good to see Mike Nike's spirit being broken ;) I don't really know what that is about. But I had a nice challenge in the race, even after the pit crash. Would have been nice to see how tight it would have been, if I wouldn't have run out of f...

Re: Formula 1 Grand Prix #2

watch Oompa's overtaking on Flakemoore against Lorenzo and me. It feels really nasty and unfair, but you can't practically find nothing to complain about Oompa vs Whip overtake @thin inside @start straight seemed fair. Amazing 0 pixel difference from wheel to wheel there, by the way. :D But vs Lore...

Re: Formula 1 Grand Prix #2

There's also the fact that you really didn't need that move to stay ahead I didn't even think about that. In my head, at this point, the move I was planning to do, is valid/fair. And likely the most effective. I did not know you were thinking differently about its fairness/morality or how you may c...

Re: Formula 1 Grand Prix #2

Tried to search a video example, but I only found these words from 4:39-4:48 here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnnR6ubhrHg Closing the door on the inside in a way to force the car behind to brake or steer to avoid a crash, seemed to be a valid defending move in curves to me, so far. In the past,...

Re: Formula 1 Grand Prix #2

You brake tested (or unthrottled) T coming out of the hairpin. Hmm...this sounds like you think this is forbidden. Or allowed, but kinda dirty. So, just in case you are not kidding: I thought and still think it is allowed to slow down your car in curves to block that way and therefore practiced it ...

Re: Formula 1 Grand Prix #2

Is 5% that big a difference T? 0.2-0.3 per lap. Simulated the conditions from yesterday, more or less. Warmup with 94% damage, I could get a fuelless and tyreless 1.18.33 34 and 43 or so in 20-25 laps - those felt like 1 18 0- 1 18 1s, maybe 1 18 2s under normal conditions with no damage. Then I dr...

Re: Formula 1 Grand Prix #2

After seeing the first couple of laps I couldn't figure out how Jormeli got to 2nd place, but well done Last race handicap for T and me was 1% more fuel to what I needed last year and a pitstop in end of lap 6. T got away good, but probably drove slightly over sand in the early fast zig zag, so I c...

@ Will Heh, Will's story reminds me to my nascar "debut" a few days ago. But Will, didn't Lemon or so hit you offroad in lap 1? Just now I remember that my sound volume was quite low in order to hear sector data and listen to youtube videos during qualification races. That might have had an additional bad effect on my pace. Re: Formula 1 Grand Prix #2

That rule (if it was one) was at least 2 F1 seasons ago. So, depending on when you started with TS, you probably cannot even know about this. Actually, I like that you were so creative to do it. But it might be a risky strategy, depending on your zoom and with possible pitting cars in front. And if ...

Lovely stats again :) Falling back to the end of the field did cost Tijny and me around 25-30 seconds in comparison to the somewhat expected race-total-time. Tijny , together with Jormeli and Enrico were sleeping at the start. And Silvas internet connection was having a winter sleep. Looking at "Tyr...

~1.18.32x reachable! Thx for the merge, power! @Oompa's issue Also here, I'd feel fine to respect other drivers opinions (that was one of the arguments "against" the falling-back-experiment, i was talking about). Simple math speaking: if the fun for T and me increases by 20%, but for 1 driver the fu...
