Jack Invaders

Hi all, I've been doing my first game for iOS platform for the last couple of months and now I have finally managed to wrap it up. It's a classic shoot 'em up game with retro style, some RPG elements and pretty tough difficulty. Screenshots can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/JackInvaders And...

Try to run it as administrator (right click - run as admnistator).

I have always agreed that default tiles are the way to go. But if the game is so flexible that people can make their own tiles, i guess that's not their fault then. Still trackmakers should pay more attention in their picture/file sizes. I sometimes use some special tiles, but usually they are just ...

- Track restrictions removed from the demo version.
- Added command /demoplayersallowed [0|1]
Just wondering, what will be the difference between demo version and full version then, when track restrictions are gone?

Or does /demoplayersallowed mean older demo versions of the game?

Wellcome back Ande :)

I also feel that game is good as it is now, just lacking the players, so the demo-->full conversion should be at highest priority.

It's a web-based football management game. I've been playing it for 4 years allready (time just flies) and propably will play it for the next 4 years too :) There are lot of similar games out there, and i have tried many of them. During the years I have quit the other ones, and focused on Freekick. ...

Here are some of my favorites: (order by year) A Clockwork Orange (1971) - Totally unique movie of it's time, classic, masterpiece. I do like Kubrick's work. I could have chosen The Shining as well or Eyes wide shut, but i wanted to pick just one movie per director. Star Wars (1977) - When i saw thi...

The history of PB on my site can be copied and used on Wiki. But it is written on first-person perspective so i don't think direct copying would be wise. I would recommend just adding the milestones first: - Created on march 2004 for TS 0.86b by Punatiainen - June 2005 TS 1.05 version released, whic...

Hi, The AI-lines for antislider are available for download at http://koti.mbnet.fi/punatia/Tracks/pu_tracks_ai_antislider.zip Just extract all of them to your sliders/ai -folder and that's basicly it. But you might want to first delete existing pu_track.lap.gz -files from that folder, otherwise the ...

Well in Punaball one common thing to remember is, that after goal you shouldn't intercept before opposition player or the ball itself has crossed the middle line. So let the other team to start their build-up first. Another common mistake in Punaball is, that you shouldn't go in the same corner than...

Freeware would be good. Just remove the license activation, and that's it.
The game is good as it is now.
Exactly. No need to change anything. But that doesn't mean Ande couldn't do new version some day, even though it would be a freeware.

Okay, here are my reviews of the tracks, not the authors! :) There is some criticism included, i guess it still needs to be there. It's a trackmaking competition, after all. I drove them all with antislider, because that is the car i want most to race with. Podium: 1. Jn_Phinkerton 2. Et_Forth 3. J_...

If for example rough track competition is held on 1.2 like suggested, then all rough tracks created after...

I would rather go with "track of the month" -style competition. Main difference would be, that trackmaker wouldn't need to add his track into competition. Instead, anyone could propose any track to competition among the tracks that are created during last month. Then finally at the end of year, best...

If i remember correctly, it was the viscosity setting that causes this. More viscosity, more "tire smoke" and vice versa. Try setting the viscosity as it is in existing terrain asphalt (was it 1, can't check myself) and try lowering acceleration instead.
