Yeah, im thinking Nintendo did not steal the idea, its a very basic track, and Nintendo could have easily thought of it themselves. I think so too. I like this track but it has a form that can easily come into other minds - just lilke a circle or rectangle. I even had to take a look on Kobradogs tr...

Keep demo players limited to 3 tracks. Limit colors. Limit any creating powers. [...] If I like it more than a couple of months, I am willing to part up to $20 for lifetime playing. I think if you limit everything there is a good chance that no one keeps playing the game for a couple of months. So ...

usually just getting 10 people to try the game is rather hard. ... When i first read a review about this game on www.the-underdogs.org i was really sceptical if i should even try it. (but because the review mentioned slicks slide and online in the same sentence i thought i can test it) When you tri...

EDIT - i just read the poll choices..........what were you thinking? lol actually i dont think any of those will do anything, its still a racing game, those suggestions will not change that. Eh I guess you shouldn't take them too serious. :) But somehow it's interesting where that comes from that t...

What could be changed that there are more female drivers?

Just out of curiosity... Has anyone ever seen a racing game where more than 5% of the players were girls? What do you think would make a car game more gender-neutral. ;)

Yes, this one is better. Still big and with this sticky hay, but it's ok.
But I still hope there will be more smaller tracks again in the future.

I agree totally to Dragonstar and Punatiainen. Fine that there now are more good ideas like no custom player names and no record storing. Also the fact that there are players who play "just for fun now and then" and won't register no matter what the demo version's like is true and that's why I disag...

Ok, then let's say the track was fun as long as everyone started driving elsewhere because of the bad checkpoints. And yes it was tinque.

But the fact that this track was one of the bigger ones and of the few ones where you could drive speeder shows us how big the tracks got today.

Er... No... The track is too long, the "bouncing place for all" is more a "getting stucked place for all" as well as some other parts in the track. And I don't like trees for bouncing, you can easily get stucked into or miss them. Also I dislike "inofficial" shortcuts where just have to figure out w...

if you download game like battlefield 2 and demo doesnt allow you to play on network. Battlefield does not suffer from having too less players on the network. If they had, the'd need other ideas. Also there is a big company behind and they can make many advertisements etc. and are well known. I thi...

my way players would be forced to buy the game. :) No. They just would play another game then. They won't even look how this game works. As now there are players who never buy full version but love network playing. They'd just play other games like Soldat then. As you cannot force anyone to pay I t...

It would be so that you can see others palying in network but you cant participate for yourself. I think this would be good solution. Not really. You'd punish the registered players. The'd have more fun if there are more other players around even if they are driving with grey cars. ;-) By they way:...

I have never actually been restricted to a demo version, so i don't know how much it would influence my decision to buy the game or not, but i doubt the number of full version players would increase, instead the activity in the demo servers would increase, since those would even be acceptable for m...

yes, jazzy some time limits or a certain amount of races per day is also better than the current limit. although i still first would first try things that do not prevent people from racing, but that's at least better than that 3 tracks solution. Other possible things: Nag-Screen, History Recording B...

I think too that the limits of the demo-version should be reconsidered. Many discussions here are about which tracks etc. there should be on the servers and what we can do to cause more people playing there. We read from time to time that the situation should get better as more players register, but...

The idea for fun-server in the first place was that people who make tracks that are not really fun and not good enough to racing-server, get their tracks on the servers. So why is it called fun server then? Then the name should be "PTX not really good and beautiful enough for regulars server". It w...

I loved the tracks in 0.86 where you had to bump from the bouncy walls, with lots of ice and stuff. But then, thats just me... Not just you, me too. :-) And I think many others who liked these tracks left and therefore don't say there opinion here. The problem is that 1.x neither has ice parts nor ...

Re: Fun Server: Track Size

Less laps: more chances for not so fast drivers and people do not have to wait long, if they join the cup. But in nonghostracing, less laps at small tracks means usually a chaos, where the result of the race is too often a random one [...] More laps: better drivers have more chances to win here. I ...

My option is missing: 20 Tracks, 4 Laps, at least 50% small tracks. Because long tracks are ok but not sooo many... But as I said elsewhere: I think discussing this here is not representative, the active communuity seems to prefer longer tracks with more laps. And that is what the racing server is f...

And i think if there is 2good drivers and 10slower drivers then there is same kind of challenge between 10slower drivers. Not really, on bigger tracks the field is not so close so that you often have just 1 before and 1 after you to fight with after the 1st lap. As this game shouldn't only be for v...

no no, its funny on big tracks, just see a race where the 2 best players run agaist, what i mean? Well that's 2 players only, on smaller tracks you have that with 10 players. On big tracks once the field is settled there is not so much to do... Just like in Formula 1. You can hope for the next pits...

I think you explained that now... If you drive very often the small tracks bore you. But on the other hand if you don't drive often the small tracks are more fun than the big ones. It's also easier to compete with other drivers there. This explains now why there are so many big tracks. Regular drive...
