Re: How to make "rotimage"?

Whiplash wrote:Is there some program that alows you to make "rotimage" easily with all that shadow efects like default cars have? Or it's hard manual work?
I'm pretty sure it's easily done in photoshop. Making the shadow effects is the easiest part. Manual work sure, but it should only take a little while.

hahaha STUMMM. I got helmet ready to go, I remember how much fun TS is after playing on Sunday. If I did not live so many hours behind most players, I would never have gone away from this game, but work made it nearly impossible to play. Sundays though, all I do is hang around home. :) Stum why don'...

Can we do another test race this weekend? Then we can try to get a few more to join. It was damn fun too... Don't cancel this league, dede, I did not come out of retirement for nothing. :P Damn, GPOR closed league had almost 20 people once... where did all the GPOR go, only 2 remain? I'm surprised m...

Most drivers made 2 stop right? I had 69% fuel at start, ran as far as I could and filled to 100, It would have been empty when I crossed the finish line (but I was a lap down, so I had more). So I guess we could see people going for 1 or 2 stop races in this cup... everyone have their calculators r...

If I get an image of a track, I can easily make that into a playable track to practice on. Meaning, so can everyone.

Count me in!! p.s. hello Topo! Hahaha wooooooooo! Hey man! :) I'm in for sure. I also have a track I was working on some time ago, I could finish it, but would it even be used in the cup? and if so, can I race that round? Oh and, the tracks will be the same kind as the GPOR open cup? In term...

I agree, Kimi is faster than Fisi. I will never forget a few years ago at Suzuka when Kimi in the McLaren passed Fisi in the Renault on the last lap. I was never expecting Fisi to win the race this weekend. I thought he could probably catch Kimi, but not pass him. Anyway.. he could be racing rally c...

mouse - nascar's "multiple lanes" is unintentional and was found because of the momentum it carries. only recently (2008) did they start adding banking to the higher grooves....scarts started 2007... OH, so track designers played some SCARTS tracks in 2007 and said "oooh good idea!" I know that's n...

whiplash..your trying to take the idea from scarts....simpler to do than what you think and..i think its pathedic to copie that.. So you stole the idea from NASCAR then, right? The "idea" of multiple lanes on a race track.... I'll show you a track of mine dating back to 2005 with this idea, people ...

Oh, come on. You would rather people crash into something than touch that little tarmac (and probably grass too)?

I used to build a lot of tracks... just trying to give some advice.

The turn on the bottom left of the track... exiting it there are hay bails, may want to move em' a bit.

Otherwise, from looking at that picture for 5 seconds, nice job.

I play[ed] with 1.0 zoom in racing, and 0.8 in punaball.

Since it was brought up, when I use keyboard (rare) I used W, A, D, B(brake), but then started using an Xbox360 controller.

I think points are deducted to help the actual good drivers (those who win a lot) compete with those who just do a ton of races.

Hint for "newbies"... You can have your own private races to have some practise. I kind of understand what Black is saying but it is just imposible to please everyone. If you are not fast enough, practise, practise, practise... its that simple. Or maybe there should be another formula league for ne...

Some way to let a slower driver know that the car coming up on him is a car that is going to lap him. I think this would be extremely helpful for newer or casual players. Being a slower driver I'm constantly worried I'm going to get pro ruled and a lot of times slow down or move off the track when ...

I'm enjoying NASCAR much more than F1 this year.... every time there is an F1 race I'm hoping for it to be wet. I have fallen asleep during 3 races so far this season...

I'm guessing FIA never heard the quote "If it's not broke, don't fix it."

A few weeks ago I actually did a few races (yes that's right, I actually played) and in my second race, I was trying to avoid a backwards driver. He was disabled and then quit. So while I understand that pro-rules may suck sometimes, things can be worse without them. By the way, you were in a race w...

mouse it is alot easier to have the no blocking rule, if they block, we should have an admin watching the drivers Yeah, there can be rules, and people watching... but that never helped all the time in past leagues like the TSM Toca Tour as faster players still got blocked. Slower cars (paired with ...

I'm in for joining this league, as long as I'm not at work when the races are scheduled.

I can provide a track (or a few) also, I currently have one being made with the GPOR-Form1 in mind.

Well, maybe to prevent collisions, you can modify a track to have 3-4 roads for each team. Good luck making checklines on all of them. I think most drivers will not be happy if they're in a slower car, and the leaders will not enjoy being blocked by them. Unless the drivers can agree on their skill...

Anyone here play COD4 or WAW online?

I think if done right, it indeed could be great. The only problem is you would get a speed boost even if the car ahead is not moving or going very slow (hairpins). I think the only way to see drafting really work is for it to be an actual feature of the game. Do mess around with it though, you may f...
