Micro Machines mode

Post by Flexman » Wed Apr 22, 2009 4:30 pm

Remember the good old game Micro Machines? I didn't see any windows remake yet but since I once saw a track pack that reminded me on micro machines I think Turbosliders does not need many changes for being used the same way.

Only thing it needs would be some "follow the leader" camera where players who drop out of the screen will be removed from the race unless one remains who gets the bonus point from the last.

For examle you see Micro Machines 2 here:

Unfortunately it is played in one player mode but if you want to get the idea how the Point system works in 4-Player-Mode you can see it with a 3D version there:

Additionally you could make some tiles where you can fall down.

Just an idea if someone has time enough... ;)

I thought about this once. My friend Rendy Andrian could definately help out with car designs. He's done some Arwings from Star Fox and F-Zero cars.

The NES game would be a good model to base the mod off of. Alot of 2D graphics could be generated for a good Micro Machines mod.
