Billiarball (Tiruca) - Fun track!

Well, I looked at various topics and found nothing about this game mode, so come on. This game mode, the BilliarBall (Tiruca, dubbed by Brazilian farmers who are Mandeagle and Stealth BD) is to have a pool table, players with the car "Ball" and missiles, the goal is to hit the opposing ball in the hole. It's a fun game mode, and if you likes the idea can even be added to the Full Contact the server.

That's a funny mode. Few guys plays it, only brazilians, I think, but I believe that will be a successful mode for you guys too.

Let's test it in Full Contact too! :D

played one cup on the Brazillian server... won it :D!

was fun though, better than any other missile type mod in my opinion.

huge advantage to cars with a stripe though, since they play with "ball" car (easier to aim).

Nothing quite like getting 3 hits on the same car in a row to put it in a pocket :).

Yeah, I've played this long time ago too. I could easily add this to FC, but it's better let it to Tijny. He needs to add new voting option for this in the script so that players can vote for it too.
I guess it's not hard to define missiles setup. Basically, missiles should be fast and strong with about 3-4 sec between shoots.
I believe that T can also overcome that stripe color advantage by forcing all players to get a random stripe color or even a random solid color.

Reminds me of a Billiard-themed racing track I made a very long time ago. Shame it doesn't have the quality :D

Stripes are very useful here =)

When we play we use a macro with these configs:

The track in the download link is broken on Linux machines because file names are case-sensitive there. (Tiruca1.png vs. tiruca1.png) Should be fixed on LVP #2 now, but you might want to distribute a version without this problem.

OK, 2 new sources are created: "pool" and "snooker".

Pool
I've created new improved ball (it has proper lighting when rotating and it has 360 images for rotation). The only thing that T should do is to overcome unbalanced stripe vs solid colored balls. It would be nice if the game could give either random stripe or random solid color to all of the players. One game could be with stripe random colors and the next one with solid ones.

Snooker
It's is created by me today. Ball color is fixed to red there always in order to make it more challenging and fair. Also, there are 3 type of balls (chosen randomly).
SnookerBall - "normal" ball that works just like that old pool ball.
SnookerBall2 - it can't accelerate by it self; it has no viscosity.
SnookerBall3 - it can't accelerate; it has normal viscosity; it has slow steering for preciser aiming.

So, these sources go for 19 and 20 voting options.
