TDi is proud to announce Punaball Major League!

LEAGUE - RULES -GAMEPLAY

-Its a league, so no groups (everyone plays against everyone).Team with more points wins, in case of draw, goals difference rule.

-Only 1 game (20 min) limit goals 10+2 as in pesol, 3 points to winner, 1 each team if draw. 2 legs, after all games are played we start 2nd leg (like soccer).

-1 League game a week, Sunday to Sunday u have to play ur sheduled match (7days), u cannot play next round before playing previous one.

- Team Composition- 2players, 1 substitute, i rly prefer no substitute and let them create they own teams, but for those with time problems substitute can solve.

The rest is quite the same, so let me quote Jan ,

RULES:
Because we do a time trial, it is important to keep in mind certain rules.

After a goal, the team that is taking out must pass the middle line with or without the ball within 10 to 12 seconds. If they don't do it, the opponent team is allowed to get the ball passing the white line.

We have this rule so u cannot wait out the playing-time when u have a comfortable lead.

We recommend you to record all your matches, because if your opponent is braking this rule on purpose, u can send in your recording to us so we can decide to disqualify the game and perhaps also your opponent. In special circumstances we can also decide to have the game totally replayed.

The color of the players is fixed. One player must use black colour and another must use white. (That's because last time some teams used same nicks and same colours so you wasn't able to identify players)

Furthermore you are bound to the normal playing rules which I think you all know.

Settings:
I suggest to make it impossible for spectators to join your server because having more people on your server may cause lag to the other players. You can adjust this setting in sliders.ini (spectatorsallowed 0)

Additional commands:

/master 0 (especially if spectators are allowed)
/players 4 (to avoid other players' connections)
/time 20
/goals 10+2
/fixedcar 1
/car antislider
/ghost 0

You can play on pesol since the settings are the same or you can also ask me or some other Community server administrator to arrange your match in Community Server

Please remember to activate your msn-accounts if you haven't got one. All email addresses and msn-passports will be placed somewhere on this forum so everyone can contact everyone.

In the post you have to inform these things: Team name + Team members + E-mails or msn-accouts of all the players.

All the things about this tournament will be updated in this topic.

Its a opportunity to all puna players have fun, playing against all kind of skills, dont be afraid to join.

Correct me if i'm wrong. But 2 rounds, 1 game each week.. that's 19x2 = 38.. which means.. this tournament like end next years? Oh, and no pause in the summer holidays for example?

Yeah Andru there will be some pauses, Summer holidays included and a few more if necessary, Its a non stress league and we can make adjustments.
Like in a soccer league if this or other game cant be played we set a date after.

Remenber its a league not a cup!

The number of teams has been reduced to 12 Teams, i think this way we'll have less forfeit problems and will be easier to teams to organize their matches.

I can count 6 strong opponent teams and 5 good ones, everyone vs everyone is nice change of pace. Also finally no damn 10 minute time limit.

I was wondering about 2 things.

First of all, can you plz post the emails/MSNs , Storm ? :>

Second, now when it's one match (in each leg), is it then the home team who host? If we then play a 2nd leg we could just switch over.

well, u have almost all mails at this topic, but i guess i'll update.

Yeah it kinda works like that, the team that plays "at home" has priority to host but not necessarly , the server has to respect minimum requirements to be a fair game. U can also play at community server (contact me or other admin) and at pesol if its free.
