Jack Invaders

Post by Punatiainen » Sat May 04, 2013 4:40 pm

Hi all,

I've been doing my first game for iOS platform for the last couple of months and now I have finally managed to wrap it up.

It's a classic shoot 'em up game with retro style, some RPG elements and pretty tough difficulty.

Screenshots can be found here:
http://www.facebook.com/JackInvaders

And here is one review, where it is also a video footage:
http://www.theiphoneappreview.com/2013/ ... pp-review/

And here is another great review with screenshots:

(If you would also like and/or share those reviews, that would be greatly appreciated)

Before playing please read instructions. The game is not very easy to learn, and I will need to add a proper tutorial in the future, which will be shown to players before the first play. Now the player has only the "how to play" section and not everyone reads it.

Post your best score here, and if someone also manages to play it through, let me know :)

All other comments and feedback are welcome too.

Here are some promocodes, which you can use to redeem your copy of the game for free (please inform here which one you have used so I can update the post):

EM37KMKMPPAY

And here is the link to App Store:
http://appstore.com/jackinvaders

It works on iPhone and iPad (with 4.3 software version or newer). Have fun :)

Regards,
Punatiainen

For the full version there is nothing to brag about in the number of downloads so far :)
But the Lite version has started much better. We'll see how it goes.

I have been using cocos2D, and will propably continue using it for the future games too.
