Master Server

Post by Tijny » Thu Oct 07, 2010 8:50 pm

As most of you will have figured out by now, the master server domain has expired. I'm sure everything will be fine eventually, but as a temporary workaround, open this file in notepad:

Code: Select all

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
and add the following line:

Code: Select all

74.86.232.128 turboserver.org
I don't know if this will still work tomorrow, but at least it's something.

Bump.

Awesomeness, it's October 7th again. Why can't the bills ever be paid on time?

Ok I contacted Jani, but I cannot contact Antti since I do not have his e-mail here.. If you have his e-mail, please contact him as well!

Thanks

I spoke to Ande on IRC, the best he could do was mail Jani like you did. Guess we'll just have to wait now.

You can also use search option (Start > Search). Search for everything on your computer with word 'hosts'. When you find correct file with matching the correct path, double click it, open with notepad, add '216.172.104.3 turboserver.org' and save it.

Or, simply input C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\ to explorer, hosts will be there.
