Good job guys! The steering is much more fluent, and the damage urges one to stay on track :p I have yet to experience drag, but overall it seems more exact. One has to keep the car straight instead of the car lining itself out. F1 seems to have more understeer, and it feels like the cars have more front wheel drive, so nice one.

What bothers me, though, is the F1 enginesound. What I liked about the old sound, was the cry of it. Especially when a couple of us were racing together. It was deeper, more urgent, and somewhat more serious. I don't want to offend, but it sounds kind of cheap, like a flopped 90s racing game, a nagging sound that keeps reminding me of all the things I should be doing instead of racing.

Could I change the sound myself, or could we opt for the old one?

wtf, use the F1 server topic mang!

There was actually an annoying click in the old sound, but I just fixed that, so I will put it back in the next version of the car. This is just a prototype after all. For the time being though, you can look up the sound file in /cars/tmp, and replace it with the sound of your choosing.

Hi guys..

I am still testing new version so this is just a first impact opinion..
Regarding DRAFTING, FUEL adn TYRES

I would keep on server side only the option to ENABLE / DISABLE those features
but I would add Draft, Tyres and Fuel Parameters inside CARDEF file
(I do not know.. may be too difficult to reprogram car files, I would not bother you all)
but binding those infos to each car would be more realistic because each car would have it's own fuel and tyres consuption and draft effetc and if a server allows only 1 type of car there would not be problems of different properties
between players.
Instead of modifying .ini files or using server commands each time u start a cup.

Would it be possible or the game structure would not allow it?
