IRT - Summer 2017 Edition

What's this cup about?
Would you like to test your racing skills, challenging all the best TS drivers? New unreleased track (no advantages to anybody!), 5 default cars (beta), ghost mode, drive for the win with each car!

When? July, date open (Sunday) @ 21:00 GMT (CET +1h, EST +2h, BRT -3h, EDT -4h).

How can I join?
Since only 20 players can take part to this cup, spots will be assigned on showup order.

How does this cup work?
Car: each car will be driven once (Order: random)
Track: Unreleased track
Laps: 10 laps
Ghost Mode: Enabled
Order: Reversed
Servers: LVP #2
Points for each car: 0 20 19 18 17 16 15 14 13 12 11 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1

From 20:30 to 21:00 CET track testing with all cars! Start immediately after that!

This is discuss to warm the old format and the date for it. Seems like there is no other major cups on sight / ongoing for now, we could go test for the new balanced defaults cars and have some serious driving on them.

Probably both in old IRT format is fine.

Random or reversed i would go. It was perhaps fastest lap order, reversed order would be really interesting.

There is will be half hour warmup before the cup, short races like 4 laps. Should car selection be open so players have time to get in touch with each car.

Yes that's the idea to have them try. These cars balancing seems promising. Well, the track maker has "small" advantage ;) had just to go for quick test racing and 10 laps would be better than 12 laps, 8 laps would be too less. With these new balanced cars it is ~6min per race. Another idea is to use fixed time to 8min, in this case if we're about to use the track i created takes ~35sec per lap on the best car, there would be 14 laps races. In one hour the cup can be completed.
