Oh, this is amazing!
The problem of the results is also that my excel formula counted best 5 results. It would be great if your script could have such option too, cause that's something we use quite often in order to make more balance between players when some of them can't join all the events. Sometimes we allow even 2 events missing. So, option best x of x would be welcomed.
Anyway, you did a really great job with this already!
EDIT:
- That "Played" column could be complicated to count, because all the players who had 0 in their results haven't played that cup actually. But in some cups 0 could mean that he played and got 0 pts because of such point system.
Maybe we could use tricks there. For example, 0 could mean played and got 0 pts, and x could mean didn't play and got 0 pts. So, instead of each 0, I would just write x.
- "View races detail" isn't always appropriate name for those standings. In FCC those are points of cups (we played 6 cups there, not 6 races). To make it suitable for both (races and cups), it's better just to rename it to "View standings details".
- Maybe we don't need "Results" and "Records" in the editor anymore. If CSV isn't used, "Standings" can be place were all the results can be written too.
- Section named "TSR Videos" could be added with items to set. You could just rename "Links" to it, since we can leave any link in description too. That way you can save more space and make the editor smaller.
Or, even better, you can keep "Links" there, but create one more Download page named "TSR Videos" (together with "Turbo Sliders", "Tracks" and "Cars"). We could then upload all the .tsr videos there and just leave the links in the tournament page in current "Links" section.
- Tags - it's perfect now! The only thing you need to change is to keep the same logic even when you click on a tag and get its page. Now when I click on some car tag, tag list will disappear and "Download also" will be there again, which shouldn't be the case.
"Download also" should only exist on
this page. I'll try to make a better images for those.
- That square with the "
Upcoming event date" info is nicely visible now. I was just wondering is it possible to add an extra info on the bottom of it like "
Time left: 5 days 6 hours 48 minutes? I'm sure that will be a huge help for a lot of players. I just hope it's not hard to implement.
