I finally have (after 7 hours working on it today

) a nice news: the website will definitively be based on a phpbb forum. This means that, if Jani&Ande agree, we can easily put this forum (without any data loss) under the official website (no other subscriptions for the official website)!
Lets say that turbosliders.com is 10% completed

Yes, please!
This would be so great. I hope Jani and Ande can see what a great idea this is. All Turbo Sliders in one place, how can you go wrong?
Nice job again Dede, keep up the good work!!

Don't be so sure about that. Are you sure you are able to help me? The only thing you can do in order to help me now is to program parts of the website. Do you have an high-knowledge of PHP-MySQL? Do you have enough free time to work on it (I program a minimum of 2 hours/day, up to 7 hours/day when I'm @ home)?

LOL... he probably means the "show new posts" icon... either

or

. It's funny, it seems to work for me now

Good job Dede!
We should really thank this man for such work he is dedicating on the official website.
I would like to see some posts every now and then from Jani and Ande as they are the main link between the game and the community.

Actually I would like to have faster replies from Ande, because Ranking & Servers-List are not complete yet (I'm waiting more info from Ande).. I don't like starting 2000 different things and leave them all incomplete. Let's hope to have faster replies.

Contents' section {tracks, cars, tools, tsr-videos, screenshots, videos..} is complete. What's missing?
- cups (1-2 weeks)
- cups' ranking (1-2 weeks)
- awards (1-2 weeks)
- buy (1 week)
- links (3-4 days)
- help (1 week)
- contact us (1-2 days)
- credits (1 day)
- homepage (1 day)
Hopefully at the end of this month TS.com {users section} will be complete. After that I will start working on the ADMIN/MOD section, that will require ages

dede wrote:Well, with TS.com I'll purpose a new moderators-team and some new rules.
How about making it a community decision? We could have elections to decide moderators and other stuff. That way inactive moderators will automatically loose votes and eventually not be re-elected when they have left the community. And it doesn't have to be for the forums only. It could be running the entire site and whatnot. Any decisions that need to be made could be done by the "TS government". New ranking system, new cup ideas, blah blah blah... We could have a self-governing community

I like the sound of that
What do you all think?
(EDIT: I just corrected a typo)

Of course we will discuss about this. I am pretty sure that my ideas are for the good ot the community, but I'd like to read your own opinion about this.

u9, your suggestion is interesting and I believe a system like that would be good for the community. Don't know what dede's plans are but based on what he has achieved so far, I believe they are good too. Looking forward to see the new site in action.
