He did do those tiles himself. He has showed me many times his work-in-progress images in MSN.

He has very good 2D and 3D image skills. :)

you know, anyone can learn about 3d max, but you have to be really creative to do such nice tiles

EDIT: I noticed the pit was 1 pxl too tall in the img, it's fixed now.

Some of you might recognise these old tiles, which I have updated and adapted to the default cars and my street car series. AntiSliding-type cars doesn't work very well on this gravel, but I guess that is expected on a rallycross track. I'll see if I can do anything about the file size, I'm not sure If I can, maybe by limiting the semi-transparecy.

How to use:
Copy/paste the code into your trk file (open in a simple text editor like Note Pad), I usually put it just below "Include tiles2.til", and save. Download the pictures into the same folder as your trk file. Now you're set to make a rallycross track. After saving the track in Track Editor, you need to paste the code back into the trk file before it's ready to drive.

I have updated the rallycross terrain a bit, fixed a bad looking shadow which probably no one else noticed. Also made the bumps a little less bumpy and generally lowered the energyloss.

I didn't update the test track though, as a proper one is in the making. ;)

Edit: Oh yeah, I lowered energyloss on the bumpy track edge tiles also.

Thanks! I didn't notice that some of the edges had turned out so black. I've fixed it now.

I also lowered steering on the rallycross bumps. The effect was to big when driving slowly on them. And the test track is now up to date.
