Ok, we'll play the AntiSlider League next. I didn't quite decide rules yet, so please help me with your ideas!

There are two options in my mind:
1) fuel, quali, etc.. everything like the current F1 League
2) quali, race (10-15min), sprint race (with reverse positions & ghost, 5-10 min) - with fuel or not? dunno..

But maybe you can find better ideas..

Tracks will be unreleased. There will be 5/8 races in the league.

About the schedule, I would keep the Sunday night (same time as F1 League). It would be nice to have two races per week, but finding two free days for everybody sounds a bit hard.

I'm rather for 1. idea. I would like quali and total rough race too.
I can play on fridays, saturdays and sundays only.

how about sat and sunday race, and only top x out of y races will count
maybe first races are just playoff to get sorta 8-12 drivers into the final race event

fuel with lowest possible slowdown and highest possible filltime id prefer, so you have a nice pause or 2 in the race, if we drive many laps

long quali sounds good Razz

ghostrace or nonghost+rough ftw

explain me the reverse positions though - 2 races and rev cup position order for 2nd race or what

1: Practise about 20 min (with fuel)
2: Qualifying (could be like real F1 3 session first 2 sessions will each eliminate 6 players which leaves 8 players left for the last session.
The 12 eliminiated players will have to start the race with 80~100% fuel)

Or we could simply let everyone qualifie with a maximum amount of number of laps.

3: Grid order single file or double file? Would be good for trackmakers to know.

4: Damage ''could be'' added at the lowest level so that when you get into a major crash you lose about 3~4% (It shouldnt be like it that every hit will cost you %)

Grid can be either single row or double rows. As long as there is enough space between cars.

Damage could be a mess.. If you crash to an obstacle and then other cars crash into you, you likely get 50% damage for that.

Unique warmup sounds fine (10 minutes with fuel).

The qualify you suggested can be good, but it's too hard to control. Maybe same qualify system as F1, with fuel and eventually low laps (3-4)?

I'm with Mike if we talk about the fuel. Fuel-yes, but slowdown-0, and about 20 sec for 100% of fuel tank.

Driving with slowdown 0 means that overtakings will be almost impossible. Remember we are talking about default tracks and antislider. Fuel slowdown is a way to make a car speed difference in the straights.
Refill time should be decided together with how big is the tank. Anyway I wouldn't go for stops longer than 20 seconds. I wouldn't like to see lapped players just because they decided to stop two laps before others.

Suggestion for WTCC kind of cup:

- 2 x 15min race with JA_Megane in best lap order
- TSE tracks
- No fuel
- Ghost quali
- Cup ~8 races, in total 16 starts
- Best 14 starts counts to final points, then it's no problem if a player miss one race

Here is a demonstration of 2 x 15 laps race (10min) & qualify on TSE_Skornish track with 19 bots. They doesn't drive like a human, but racing is still playing with very little marginals, every hundredth of a second and a lap is a battle.

Greet Jazzy for the car, Tijny & Janne for the tracks. Nice to hear if you like this idea, only we need to organize this then. It was very tight racing with 4 peoples, but what if there is 20 players, woah. Maybe we can call some open test day and see how it works? But for this we need Community Server, i'm afraid about my network to handle more than 10 players.

I'am also against fuel slowdown-0, I understand that for record "wankers" this is alot more fun since you have a chance for a record every lap. Race-wise it would be 100x times more boring though, I think

Ja-megane car? Haven't played / seen it yet lol. If it's a good car it could be fun too. Antilsider cup will be cool too, but then Whiplash can beat me:x WinkWink. Since I am sux with default cars.......

We had a cup based on this car. I don't remember about the size of the car, but I believe it was far too big compared to track width. I'm pretty sure that the car was bouncing very much on contacts. For the rest, it drives well and the cup was fun just like all other organized cups.
I don't exactly understand the point of having two races like described by Keppana.. I will watch videos later and see..

Anyway, if the cup doesn't require unreleased tracks, there are no problems for the organization. Community Servers are available, the "TurboSliders.com" forum account is there to give the same weigth to all cups.

This cup isn't in my plans for the short future, but I believe it can have a good success if anybody organized it.

One point is that, if for example lag, phone call, driving to grass or other mistake ruins your first start, you don't miss so much if you make good lap and then you are on the touch again in second start.

Second point is we can have two races in one evening. 16 diffedent events is very much, but 8 events with 2 races will do the same.
