ok, try now! :D

but warning: don't add the first row: "Players,Cup 1,Cup 2,Cup 3,Cup 4,Cup 5,Cup 6"
add just players!

I do not know the rules of the cup, it is perhaps not error that tijny missing 24 points?

Oh, this is amazing! :)
The problem of the results is also that my excel formula counted best 5 results. It would be great if your script could have such option too, cause that's something we use quite often in order to make more balance between players when some of them can't join all the events. Sometimes we allow even 2 events missing. So, option best x of x would be welcomed.
Anyway, you did a really great job with this already!

EDIT:
- That "Played" column could be complicated to count, because all the players who had 0 in their results haven't played that cup actually. But in some cups 0 could mean that he played and got 0 pts because of such point system.
Maybe we could use tricks there. For example, 0 could mean played and got 0 pts, and x could mean didn't play and got 0 pts. So, instead of each 0, I would just write x.

- "View races detail" isn't always appropriate name for those standings. In FCC those are points of cups (we played 6 cups there, not 6 races). To make it suitable for both (races and cups), it's better just to rename it to "View standings details".

- Maybe we don't need "Results" and "Records" in the editor anymore. If CSV isn't used, "Standings" can be place were all the results can be written too.

- Section named "TSR Videos" could be added with items to set. You could just rename "Links" to it, since we can leave any link in description too. That way you can save more space and make the editor smaller.
Or, even better, you can keep "Links" there, but create one more Download page named "TSR Videos" (together with "Turbo Sliders", "Tracks" and "Cars"). We could then upload all the .tsr videos there and just leave the links in the tournament page in current "Links" section.

- Tags - it's perfect now! The only thing you need to change is to keep the same logic even when you click on a tag and get its page. Now when I click on some car tag, tag list will disappear and "Download also" will be there again, which shouldn't be the case.
"Download also" should only exist on this page. I'll try to make a better images for those.

- That square with the "Upcoming event date" info is nicely visible now. I was just wondering is it possible to add an extra info on the bottom of it like "Time left: 5 days 6 hours 48 minutes? I'm sure that will be a huge help for a lot of players. I just hope it's not hard to implement.

ok, work in progress...

about That "Played" column could be complicated to count
when done, you'll can put any char, or leave the column blank to indicate that player wasn't in game.

about tags
to do it, i think we'll have to separate "tags for car" from "tags for tracks".

about TSR Videos
maybe I did not understand.
do "links" will be an item of multimedia page?

Nah. When you put cursor on "Downloads" tab, it should list tree Turbo Sliders, Tracks, Cars, TSR Videos (new).
TSR Videos shouldn't be threated as multimedia videos, since it's a download-able content (TS replay files). So, keep the Multimedia as it is (just make those images much smaller there).

EDIT:
Played column works nicely now. :) In case of 0 played races/cups, you should just show that "0" instead of leaving it blank.

maybe something more generic like this? http://maybe.turbosliders.com/download/other

"Other" can contain trs videos and other material about TS.

to separate tags was a bad idea.
I added the tag list to the tag page... but on that page are shown ALL tags, both cars and tracks (and now Other) tags.

we will have to use more specific tags, such as "F1 track" and "F1 car"

edit:
uhmmmm it does not work as expected (work in progress)

Can you make sections on that list like:
Cars
rot-image (8)
racing car (6)
car pack (5)
single car (3)

Tracks
single track (1)
F1 track (1)

Other
TSR Video (1)
Tool (2)
Wallpaper(3)

for now i show all the tags regardless the "tag type"...because there isn't a "tag type" :P
there is a "download type": ie cars, tracks and other. But tags are global!

I would leave it as is, not to complicate things too much right now, unless we want to have from 3 to N separate fields (one for each "download type") for inserting tags in Download.

edit:
maybe we can stop using the tags: "single car" and "carpack", not very useful

It could useful actually. But we can decide later how to define logic for all of the tags.

And, I forgot one small thing about standings. It would be good if you could define the same position for the players with the same number of points (on both, overall and detailed standings). Example:
1. PlayerA 50
2. PlayerB 47
3. PlayerC 44
3. PlayerD 44
5. PlayerE 42

Also, "Count only the best N results:" could be presented on better position (closer to standings). And it should be renamed to "Number of best results counted:"

ALL done! :D

but with a difference for positions:
"same position for the players with the same number of points and same number of wins!"

edit:
I think Multimedia section is to be remade (with the same system of download), but not now :P

edit2:
updated first post with a small "todo list".
now, how to spam users to encourage them to try the new site? :)

Re: New Turbo Sliders website (2015)

and we can do even more! :D
maybe not immediately, perhaps with suggestions of other users and administrators.

My main goals are now:
1) make sure that nickname used in tournaments have a link to the user's page on the site (if any). For now we will have to rely on the common sense of the users: for example, I could put "dede" as my alternative nick...
2) option to upload directly a TS Server log file to automatically create statistics, standings, lap records etc.
3) community managers can assign items (cups, awards) to users (must be planned with other tournament administrators)

Without your contribution it would not have been possible to improve the site so much, because I have not the experience to know all the needs that are around Turbo Sliders.

About going online: dede have to try and approve the site, i think. In any case we should add more tracks and cars.... and tournaments!
Is still there the Hot lap Weekly Competition? It is the only kind of competition that I can do due my weak internet connection.

edit:
"goal 1" done (see demo here):
users have to insert their "in game nicks" on the site user page.

Oh, that's just what we needed! :) Can you somehow make that it shows the name of country when you point the cursor on the flag?

EDIT:
And now, when I'm watching the home page, I somehow think that we maybe could consider the idea of having separated tab for Server list at the end. It's mostly because all those news (articles) somehow went to the second plan, and that's kinda bad thing. I know that I've insisted the most on having it on home page, but I'm not sure about it now.
The other bad thing now is that Server list isn't totally on the top of the page. But I understand your idea of having some info about the game there.

no problem, i agree and “Only fools never change their mind.” :D

we could make the server list "collapsible" (and collapsed by default), or a link on the right bar, only in home, that opens a full-page window... as popup, but not properly a popup, rather a "dialog box".
Because there are already many items on the Main Menu.

I would like too see both versions before saying what's better.

And, please, let me be able to edit "Chat" page.

EDIT:
- Correct "In game nicknames:" to "In-game nicknames".

Hi Stummi. Great work on the new website! I just have one small question about this (but an important one for me and maybe a few other players). Will this feature accept unusual characters such as the ² in my nick?

Yes, i think. Just try!
1) Login on the new site with your forum credentials (user+pass)
2) Click My Account -> Edit
3) insert your(s) nickname(s)

>> Correct "In game nicknames:" to "In-game nicknames".
>> And, please, let me be able to edit "Chat" page

done, you can now manage another "Content Type": Basic pages.

>> I would like too see both versions before saying what's better.
use imagination :P the "collapsible case" is just about hiding the server table and make the string "server list" clickable.
but i think isn't a very good solution. the pop-up isn't a very good idea too.

maybe the best, simple, and web-accessible solution is just a link to a specific page containing only the server list: as you suggested, but without adding it on the Main Menu. (already done, but we can move the link to the serverlist page where we want)

About the iBlaze's nick, I had to save the CSV file in UTF-8 format. I avoided such characters in my excel file, that's why standings were without "²".

EDIT:
- Try to use these flags instead of current ones. They seem to be better.
- Don't forget to do all the tricks on the players' names inside of detailed standings too.

Unfortunately, the file names do not fit.
They must be named with the country code (ba.png, it.png...), not with the full name.

We can not use full names because there are inaccuracies and special characters, for example on the website there is "Bosnia and Herzegovina", but the file is called "Bosnia & Herzegovina"

Not a problem then.

EDIT:
View detailed standings - positions aren't the same there yet if players have the same number of points. You can't know how many wins each of them had, so you don't need that extra rule there.

we need a page like this, i think. http://maybe.turbosliders.com/punaball

i know nothing about punaball, anyone can write some information?
I see that there is always someone to play Punaball even when all the servers are empty.

Not sure where to put a link to that page. Maybe we can add a tab on main menu: "game types", and put "chat" under "forum".

I contacted dede, he said that on the new site "is missing a lot of stuff".

perhaps he is alluding to the download items?
do someone would know what to save of old downloads?

However I think he will come here to explain what remains to be done.

and: can someone please paste here a TS Server Log File? Any one! Just copy and paste it here.
Thanks :)

I wouldn't say that a lot of things are missing. I would just say that a lot of things need to be polished before release.
Cause, all the things that are missing can be added step by step in the following time. And most of them will be added only when you release it.

What server? Why would you need it? Just for a test? I can just give you log file of a certain day and certain server.
